   Good, very very good. Beautiful, smooth, soft silicone band, and quite rare for being rounded at the lug ends to integrate to the watch case – provided the watch isn’t square or rectangular – but using straight lug pins for ease of attachment.The buckle has a slightly old-fashioned design as if to emulate the kind of buckle that comes with the leather strap you’d find on a classic watch, and if that was the look they were going for, I wish the edges of the strap were not totally square but more rounded and smoothed off and the surface slightly textured like leather so that the whole product would have that classic effect. That’s not what I was aiming for but it’s what comes to mind at the sight of the buckle. I liked the medium-grey colour, the lack of unnecessary stitching and especially the rounded lug ends.The underside of the strap has like tractor marks, parallel indentations that allow a bit of ventilation but at the same time help keep the strap in the right position on the wrist. Even the holes for the buckle prong are well done, cut from the underside at a 45-degree angle to help the prong slide through but looking totally conventional from the top.This is a very good strap at a fair price and when the Seiko I bought it for finally arrives, I’m going to have a hard time deciding between a grey nylon sailcloth strap by a brand called Gemony – not rounded at the lugs – and this one. Have I come to the point where I’ll buy a watch to fit a strap? I’m afraid so.
